I am currently recruiting for a truly stand-out Perl opportunity with one of
London’s top tech teams – this industry-leading digital company are looking
for an experienced Senior Perl developer/architect to help design and
implement their next-generation high-concurrency technology platform .

 

You'll work as part of the team responsible for recreating their underlying
platform as a service-oriented architecture (SOA), much of which is
greenfield development. This is an exciting time for the company and an
excellent opportunity for the right developer. Ideally, you’ll have
substantial experience creating high-availability and high-scalability
software architecture.

 

One of the other great benefits of this role is the “technology agnostic”
attitude of the development managers – when faced with new problems, they’re
open-minded about learning new tools. With that in mind, they offer the
opportunity to cross train their developers in various other programming
languages, including Scala and Python.

 

As you can imagine, for such a business critical role, the remuneration is
reflective of the responsibility you’ll have and the importance of the work
you’ll be doing. Dependent on experience, the salary range goes up to the
£80k mark.
