I've used RPC::XML and it's fine; made its way into production complete 
with its (nearly essential I'd say) compression feature on. If you 
search the London.pm archives I think I've posted some sample code. I've 
posted sample RPC::XML code *somewhere*, if not here :) Ping me if no 
luck & you want it.
