phpicalendar[1][2] is another solid contender. Not as pretty as the
previously-mentioned Zimbra[3], but very close.
Features:
+ Daily, weekly, and monthly views
+ Correct recurrence rule parsing (e.g. every Friday except the third
Friday of every month). This project is one of the few that get this
feature right. Brown Bear's iCal[4] is close but doesn't offer
repeats on the 5th DoW.
+ Exports iCalendar (.ics) files for import to desktop calendar
clients like Apple iCal[5], Mozilla Sunbird Calendar[6], etc.
+ Exports an RSS feed of upcoming events
+ Multiple calendars that can be turned on and off from the view
(e.g. for a music calendar, you could have create different
categories, to be turned on and off at will. Rock, classical, etc.)
+ Can start week on Sunday, Monday, or any other day
