Didn't Portland.pm go the way of short-ish talks with ample martini's and
later adjoining to a pub for games? Less boring perhaps.

 Speakers:  Here in Cambridge there was a mention of Birmngham.pm(? I may
be making this up) suggesting speaker swaps for tech talks.
