The support team has direct access to us at the production backend
plus there's all sorts of response metrics in place they have on
resolving issues. There is also an SLA for premium edition which has a
pretty reasonable (IMO :)) annual fee (and now 25GB of storage). We
also internally track a huge array of Gmail uptime, latency, error
types, etc stats.
