I particularly like the part, when talking about reliable messaging, 
where the author handwaves away the data distribution messaging 
scenario (ie pub-sub) as something which can be layered on top of 
request-response scenarios.

Their other proposed solution for dealing with lost messages - 
periodic resend.

Those two alone (while both technically true) would be enough to 
make me avoid the product.
