I have a pair of 19" LCD monitors which, when they are on, still produce 
a fair amount of heat. My cat likes to lie behind them (there is a nice 
shelf above which makes it a nice warm, dark, place). He likes it even 
more now that there is a piece of "VetBed" (synthetic, washable, thick 
grey (1" pile) "carpet" bedding for pets) behind the monitors.
