Mdf and I have prodded the box and its all good. Having your bios 
decide it cant see any hard drives makes booting hard. bad hardware no 
cookie and certainly no dim sum.

There was no loss of data. Even if it had all gone wrong the backups were 
safe, secure and verifed to be useful.
