The Pembury is excellent enough that it is in honorary Zone 1. Aim for
Hackney Wick or Hackney Central depending on whether you're coming from
Liverpool Street or Highbury and Islington.

Both routes take Oyster PAYG and are through-ticketed so you won't pay for
two journeys if you start from somewhere within the bowels of the Tube
network.
