I don't see why it'd be cold - it gets cooked in an oven, it'll only be
cold if you leave it to go cold after cooking it.

Personally I prefer my bacon bendy (and tasting like it was cooked
rather than burnt), so the lack of crisp would be a positive factor for
me.
