Those are apparently also known as a "Wigan kebab", and are of course  
often served with Glasgow Salad. And Lancastrians wonder why we call  
them pie-eaters.

I had one in Leeds once and it was a bit disappointing, not least in  
part due to the use of a scummy Pukka pie instead of a proper one from  
Ainsleys.
