Back when I was doing consulting (remote), I a couple of  monitors, a keyboard,
and a laptop on my back porch.  It was great until one day when the people 
behind me got a pool and started blasting country music all day.  Eventually 
I  ended up back in the house with a clutch of rack mount servers providing, um,
white noise.

I  highly recommend  working outside, it clears the mind and helps
the code flow*.
