The closest analogy would be a single unit with a hot spare, but I've seen
alleged RAID1 arrays configured that way and it still makes me twitchy just
thinking about it.

I get my coffee from the Algerian coffee shop in Soho who ask me what kind
of pot I've got and grind appropriately.
